Heidi Messner announces Eureka mayor candidacy

EURKEA., Ca (KIEM)- The seat for mayor of Eureka is open and up for grabs and the first person to announce their candidacy for the position is current council member Heidi Messner. Messner has served eureka’s ward two since November of 2016.

Today at the old town gazebo, she announced her campaign to fill frank jager’s shoes and spoke to how she wants to serve Eureka in the leadership role.
