A Fortuna couple, Jannie and Harry Hardin, donate $100,000 to local health care on the North Coast.

Donations will fund physical therapy for neurological related issues related to Parkinson’s disease, and the new St. Joseph Hospital Eureka Family Medicine residency program. Harry Hardin was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2013, and was traveling to Santa Rosa for care before he learned he could receive care locally through St. Joseph.

Hardin says their gift thanks St. Joseph for improving his quality of life, and recognizes that investment in local healthcare is important.
