County Fire reaches 86,000 acres, containment up to 27%

NAPA, YOLO COUNTIES, Calif. (KIEM) – The County Fire continued to burn this Fourth of July in Napa and Yolo counties.

The County Fire has grown to 86,000 acres, since it broke out on Saturday.

Over 3,000 fire personnel dedicated their holiday to fighting the wildfire, and mandatory evacuations in many communities still remain in place.

Firefighters reached 27% containment as of Wednesday, and expect to have full containment by July 10.
