Fatal hit and run crash in Crescent City

CRESCENT CITY – The California Highway Patrol needs your help in identifying a vehicle involved in a fatal hit and run crash in Crescent City.

According to the Crescent City CHP, around 8:45 Sunday night, a female bicyclist was traveling southbound along the right shoulder of Lake Earl Drive north of Bay Meadows Road.

A vehicle then struck the woman from behind, ejecting her from the bike. She was transported to Sutter Coast Hospital where she later died.
