Several vegetation fires burning near Hoopa

HOOPA- Fire agencies responded to several forest fires northeast of Hoopa. Of the five fires  reported Thursday morning, three continue to burn.

The Hoopa Fire department and Cal Fire are both battling the Mill Creek fires by ground and air. The biggest fire is 20 acres in size.

No structures are threatened and there are no evacuation orders at this time but that could change on a moments notice.

The Hoopa Valley Tribe is asking for residents to be prepared.
