EUREKA, CA. (KIEM)- Today residents of California headed west all the way to the coast for an international event that started right here in Humboldt County.

Its coastal cleanup day and it started 39 years ago. Now the tradition continues to pick up waste- with growing numbers of volunteers each year.

Today our Dru Miller visits Eureka’s water front to show us a portion of the largest volunteer event in support of the marine environment.
