Victim Identified In Fatal Shooting

EUREKA – Eureka Police have released the identification of the victim in a shooting last week in Eureka.

Police say 58-year old Frederick William Loftus, was allegedly shot multiple times by 75-year old David Alan Kobak.

It is believed both Loftus and Kobak were living at the residence when the incident took place. At this time, no motive for the murder has been established.
