SIX RIVERS NATIONAL FOREST – It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas… Well, not quite yet, but it will soon.
The Six Rivers National Forest has announced that Christmas tree permits will be available next week.
Starting Wednesday, you can purchase a permit for ten dollars, with a limit of five per person and two per household.
Fourth graders are eligible for free tree permits through the federal Every Kid in a Park Program, as long as their teacher signs up.
