Manila suspected-homicide victim identified

MANILA, CA.  – We now know the identity of the victim in a suspected homicide in Manila.

The incident took place this Saturday.

At about 3:16AM, Humboldt County deputies responded to the 1700 block of Victor Boulevard, where they found 27-year-old Mathew Thomas Dix dead in his truck with a gunshot wound to his head.

Dix’s death is being investigated as a homicide.
