Eureka car for sale stolen, taken on high speed chase

EUREKA, CA. – A Eureka man trying to sell his car, instead gets his wheels stolen.

Just before 4PM Monday afternoon, the seller was showing his grey BMW at the Humboldt Hill Vista Point.

The potential buyer asked him if he could drive the car, but when he got in the driver seat, he took off and fled south.

Then just before one Thursday morning, Sonoma County Sheriff’s deputies spotted the stolen car on Highway 101 in the Santa Rosa area.

Following a pursuit, they lost site of the BMW heading towards Marin County.

The suspect is described as a white male adult, about 6’3’’, 200 pounds, and bald.
