Fighting for Faith: Rio Dell girl completes chemotherapy

SAN FRANCISCO, CA. – A Rio Dell girl fighting childhood cancer completes her last day of chemotherapy.

Her achievement made possible with the help of her supportive family, and a little bit of faith.

Faith Wrisley is six years old and her battle with Wilms tumor, a type of kidney cancer, began in 2013.

Her most recent chemo treatments would last six hours a day, five days a week, every third week, for months on end.

On Thursday her family – Andrea, David and Destiny, all sported t-shirts in excitement of Faith’s last day of chemo.

Mutated genes have caused Faith’s cancer to relapse in the past, and they can’t be certain it won’t come back again, but for now they rest – and are more than proud to say Faith is cancer free.
