McKinleyville, Ca., (KIEM)- The Coast Guard suspends their search for a crabber who went overboard just after 1:00 Sunday morning.
Coast Guard Petty Officer Sunderman tells News Channel 3, two fisherman on-board the “Chief Joseph” went overboard while checking crab pots.
According to his family, Bryan Scott Moore was lost at sea. His fellow fisherman pulled from the water 8 nautical miles west of the south spit. Moore’s family would like to see the search continued.Telling News Channel 3, “[Moore] is one of the most loved, amazing humans you will ever come across.” The search was officially called off by 1:00 Sunday afternoon.
