Four Firemen recognized for outstanding work

ARCATA-The Arcata fire district is honoring four of its own for their hard work, commitment, and overall improvement to the organization.

The awards given were rookie, volunteer, and employee of the year along with the Archie Bernardi-fire officer of the year award.

Jake Cliff was named Rookie of the year and Anthony Benelisha earned
Employee of the year. Volunteer of the year David Haller is a full time teacher at freshwater elementary school he has given over two-thousand hours of service last year.

The Archie Bernardi-fire officer of the year honor went to battalion chief Sean Campbell, who constantly encourages his team to do more and always supports them in their efforts.
