Change in Local Law Enforcement: CHP Humboldt Commander Fabbri Steps Down

Eureka, Ca., (KIEM)- California Highway Patrol Humboldt Area Commander Brett Fabbri came before the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors today announcing his resignation. He’s accepted a position in Redding.

“My heart is still in Humboldt County,” Fabbri explained. He’s from Arcata, and spent more than 20 years in local law enforcement. Several of the supervisors, and Humboldt County Sheriff Billy Honsal spoke up to thank him for his service to the county.

Fabbri says his replacement, Stacey Barr, has more than 25 years of experience, and will join the area from Sacramento. He also explained, he plans to remain on staff in March to help her get her footing in Humboldt.
