The Humboldt Bay Harbor Working Group: The Development of the Port of Humboldt Bay as an International Seaport

The Humboldt Bay Harbor Working Group held their 50th presentation to date today at the Samoa Cookhouse. This one being the fourth in a series on “The Development of the Port of Humboldt Bay as an International Seaport.”

PG&E’s, Tracy Craig, spoke on their prior ownership of the land and the extensive hazardous waste clean- up 100 plus years later.

Member of the Humboldt Bay Harbor Working Group, Marian Brady, tells us that plans for the refurbished dock are not solidified yet, but she hopes it will provide more shipping, with the docks three points of access.

The dock is next to the Schneider Dock, on the Eureka side of the bay.
