Humboldt County continues to seek public input on wind energy farm

Will wind energy power parts of the North Coast? The County of Humboldt continues to seek public input. And two scoping meetings are coming up this month to discuss the 135-megawatt energy idea.

The Humboldt County Planning and Building Department is preparing an environmental impact report for the august meetings, which will allow the public to give comments and concerns on those reports.

The first meeting will be held on August 14th from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Sequoia Conference Center in Eureka. The next is on august 15th from 6 pm -8 pm at the Winemea Theater in Scotia.
