WILLOW CREEK, Ca., (KIEM) Saturday marks the 58^th year of Willow Creek’s Annual Bigfoot Daze Celebration, where the tale of Bigfoot lives on.

Humboldt county locals stood watchful as cars of waving Willow Creek locals and business owners rode through Highway 299 for a celebratory parade.

People of all kind got a chance to dance to live music, chow down on their favorite ice cream, and engage in other activities around the city.

“Bigfoot Day has been forever,” said Penny Chastain, volunteer at the Willow Creek-China Flat Museum. “It brings people from all over to our community.”

The theme of this year’s event was “Superhero Bigfoot”.
