Live bands rock out on Arcata Plaza for Labor Day Celebration

Arcata, Ca., (KIEM) Music filled the air of the Arcata Main Street Plaza, Saturday afternoon.

Live bands rocked it out while locals sung, danced and looked on in spirit of the Arcata Main Street Labor Day Celebration.

Jenny Kukuk, Board Member of Arcata Main Street shared that she loves events like the music festival because it gives locals a chance to shine.

“You know we just have so many local bands and we just want to support them and just get them out here and help,” said Kukuk. “People have really appreciated that we’re doing these events. Business owners are happy that they’re getting more traffic to their businesses, so altogether this has been a positive thing.”
