Southern Humboldt road rage incident ends with gunfire

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, CA., (KIEM)- Just after 7:00 p.m. Thursday night, Humboldt County Sheriff’s Deputies found a 39-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound near Ettersburg Road in Southern Humboldt.

The victim told deputies he was shot after getting out of his vehicle to confront another driver, in an apparent road rage incident. The driver allegedly shot the victim after physically assaulting him.The suspect is a man in his 40’s with black hair and a short beard. He’s about 5 foot 8 and thin. He was driving a white or silver Toyota Tacoma.
