Permit processing goes digital

HUMBOLDT COUNTY – Permit processing will become much easier with a new online system.

Later this month, the Humboldt County Planning and Building department will switch over to an online licensing software called Accela.

It has a robust civic platform where the public can view building and land use permit activity.

The change will enhance automation services related to permits, reduce the use of paper, and prioritize customer communication.

The online permit service will start September 24th.
