Humboldt County Sheriff talks to concerned Trinidad residents about vacation rentals

TRINIDAD – Trinidad residents discuss the role of Law Enforcement in their city at “Coffee With a Cop.”

The hot topic was disturbances in vacation rental homes.

Residents asked Sheriff Honsal if a house is being loud, should they call the property manager, or the Sheriff’s Office.

Honsal explained they should call the owner, and if nothing is resolved, call the sheriff’s office.

He says he thinks it’s important to keep open communication with concerned citizens.
