California Highway Patrol cleans up along South Broadway after fleeing motorcyclist tosses items

HUMBOLDT HILL, Ca. (KIEM) – California Highway Patrol was on cleanup duty on Wednesday night, after a motorcyclist sped from a traffic stop, and threw shopping items he was carrying onto the roadway.

The incident happened at about 9:15 on South Broadway in the Humboldt Hill area. When the officer attempted a stop the cyclist for carrying too many items, the suspect fled and was able to escape. Anyone with more information on his whereabouts should contact CHP at (707) 822-5981.
