Volunteers collect toys for children

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – If you stopped to get some gas today, you may have also been reminded it’s that time of year to stop and get a toy to donate.

Toys for tots volunteers and members of California Conservation Corps lined the sidewalk outside the Costco Gas pump in Eureka today. Every year, volunteers dedicate themselves to collecting hundreds of toys for under privileged families, so that every local child can have a present to unwrap, regardless of their families income.
