2018 Annual KEKA Truckers Christmas Parade wraps up a successful weekend

Thousands of residents flooded the streets of Eureka this weekend for the annual KEKA Truckers Christmas Parade.

80 floats lit up the parade, leaving four contestants to receive awards. First and second place winners received checks and plaques, and were broken up in two categories for “small float” and “large float.”

This year’s first place winner for the large float went to Sanders Roofing, Boy scouts of America. With Humboldt County Public Works, “Santa and Reindeer as the runner up.

And for the small floats, Darrel Baker Trucking and the “Toys for Tots” float received the first place award, with Dan Byrd Painting Fire Truck as the runner up.
