Bikers donate $3,500 to Humboldt Senior Resource Center

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – Another way the community is giving an extra hand to those in need. How about over 7-thousand dollars to help feed the hungry

This morning, the united bikers of northern California coast donated 35-hundred dollars to the Humboldt Senior Resource Center. The donation will go straight to their senior nutrition program. Every year their kitchen preps and delivers nearly 100-thousand meals to seniors from McKinleyville to Fortuna, and because of the help from the bikers a lot less people will not go hungry this holiday season.

And that wasn’t the only stop for the non-profit organization. Today they also donated 35-hundred dollars to Eureka’s food for people specifically to the children’s backpack sack lunch program and a thousand dollars to Eureka’s Rescue Mission.
