State of McKinleyville set for Wednesday night

McKinleyville, Ca., (KIEM) The Chamber of Commerce in McKinleyville will facilitate it’s State of McKinleyville meeting.

The purpose of this open forum is for the community and local officials to gain trust in one another, as well as, for residents to speak up on issues that impact them and the rest of their neighborhood.

The panel will consist of 8 local leaders including Sheriff Honsal from the Sheriff’s Department, District Supervisor Steve Madrone, and District Attorney Maggie Fleming.

The moderator of the meeting, Ken Hamik, said this is a good start to a great conversation.

The State of McKinleyville meeting will take place Wednesday night at 6:30pm in Azalea Hall. There will also be a $5 door charge for off-set expenses.
