EUREKA, CA. (KIEM) – A coalition of health labor and education leaders are recommending some serious changes to address California’s lack of health workers. In Humboldt County for various reasons, many people are struggling with local mental health services. One reason is that there are not enough health workers to meet the psychiatric and therapeutic needs of the community. Dru Miller has been following this story closely and has more.
