Humboldt County Board of Supervisors Approve Nomination Support

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – The Humboldt County of Board of Supervisors approved nomination support for Arcata City Mayor Brett Watson and Eureka City Councilmember Natalie Arroyo. It’s for the position of the Coastal Commissioner for the North Coast.

At the time, board members from Humboldt, Del Norte, and Mendocino County were unable to fill the spot for the North Coast region. That’s when Arcata City Mayor Brett Watson and Eureka City Councilmember Natalie Arroyo expressed interest in the role.

Following the approved support, their nominations will be sent to Governor Newsom’s office.
