Mental Health Advocates Rally at Humboldt County Courthouse

EUREKA, CA (KIEM) – Dozens of community members rallied together Tuesday in Eureka. It was all to bring awareness to Mental Health.

More than 50 people walked from the Hope Center on H Street down to the Humboldt County Courthouse. Some were holding signs, and many others chanting with the hopes to end the stigma of Mental Health.

This rally is a part of Mental Health Matters Month. People who had dealt with a mental illness spoke in front of the crowd sharing their stories.
