Eureka man arrested after deputies find weapons, drugs, stolen items

EUREKA, Ca (KIEM)- Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Eureka man on a felony warrant and found a large amount of weapons, stolen property and drugs.

31 year-old Joshua Wentworth was taken into custody at his residence located at an RV park on the 4000 block of North State Highway 101.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies searched the home and found two assault rifles, five handguns, seven loaded magazines, a 50-round drum magazine, three high capacity rifle magazines, and over 100 rounds of ammunition. They also located stolen property including two chainsaws, burglary tools, meth and drug paraphernalia.

Wentworth was booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on charges of a felon in  possession of a firearm and ammo, possession of assault weapon, burglary tools and drug charges.
