Man Wanted for Assault with Deadly Weapon on the Loose

FIELDBROOK, CA (KIEM) – A man wanted for an assault with a deadly weapon remains on the loose after he got away from Law Enforcement.

Just before 10 Monday morning, the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office served an arrest warrant at a residence on the 100 block of Wagle Lane in Fieldbrook. While there, a man fled the house on foot.

Police believed that man barricaded himself inside a barn on the property. But deputies were unable to determine if the man that fled was actually the suspect named in the warrant. After an hour, Law Enforcement left the scene. The Sheriff’s Office said it will continue its investigation and will obtain another warrant for further action.
