Boys and Girls Club of Yurok Tribe- Kepel Celebrates Grand Opening

KLAMATH (KIEM)- Monday was the grand opening of the Boys and Girls Club of Yurok Tribe- Kepel.

The club will be open on the Kepel site Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from noon to six p.m. and is open to all youth.

The tribe operates an existing Boys and Girls Club in Klamath, which started with assistance from the Boys and Girls Club of the Redwoods in Humboldt.

The Kepel site is a satellite of the exiting club, both offer recreational and educational activities, cultural and Yurok language lessons.
