Arcata hiring for its Planning Commission

Arcata, Ca., (KIEM) The city of Arcata is currently seeking community members to apply for one of its open volunteer positions on the Planning Commission.

The city said the Planning Commission shapes Arcata’s future and has the final say for most Planning and Physical Development Permits in the Arcata planning area.

Arcata residents and those who live or work within the city’s planning area are welcome to apply. Applicants will be interviewed and selected by the Arcata City Council.

This volunteer position requires attendance at two meetings on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month, which are televised and streamed live online for the public.
