EUREKA, Ca (KIEM)-St. Bernard’s football is a talented team but lacks experience. They have just seven linemen and almost half of the roster is made up of freshman and sophomores.

Of course, it helps having Will Omey leading the offense. The senior quarterback threw for over 2,200 yards and 31 touchdowns a season ago.

But a lack of depth is a concern for the Crusaders as the 2019 season gets underway. SB must find a way to stay healthy as they won’t play their Big 4 Conference schedule until late October.

St. Bernard’s will play six of its ten games this season on the road. They open August 23 at El Molino.
