McKinleyville Man in jail, accused of Murder

McKinleyville, Ca., (KIEM) A McKinleyville man is in jail facing murder charges.

40-year-old Brian Leiteritz was arrested after police received reports of a disturbance that led to an alleged stabbing early Saturday morning on the 1100 block of Boss Road in McKinleyville.

On arrival, officials said they found a man unresponsive on the sidewalk who was transported to the hospital where he later died.

After investigating, police located and booked Leiteritz into the Humboldt County Jail.

Police report that Leiteritz will be charged with murder.
