Blue Lake Fire Will Hold Memorial for Captain Daniel Komins

Blue Lake, Ca. (KIEM) — The Blue Lake Volunteer Fire Department is holding a memorial service for Captain Daniel Komins.

Komins was hiking in the Trinity Alps earlier this month when he went missing. A search and rescue process began when his body was discovered by CHP officers on the trail between L Lake and Mirror Lake.
