Homeless Activist Betty Chinn Recognized in Kid’s Book Girl Activist

EUREKA (KIEM) – Betty Chinn is honored and recognized with many historic women through a kid’s book.

About a year ago, the author reached out to Chinn and she says at first she was hesitant. But after a while, she decided it was important that she shared her story with other people around the world.

Girl Activist show iconic women both in history and today. It features Rosa Parks, Susan B. Anthony, Billie Jean King, and even Lady Gaga.

Chinn says, it’s a huge honor to be with so many incredible women and hopes her story inspires younger kids and teenagers to make a difference.
