Semi-Truck Vs. Pedestrian Collision Sends One To Hospital in Eureka

EUREKA (KIEM)- A traffic collision involving a semi-truck and a pedestrian sends one person to the hospital.

Emergency personnel responded to the intersection of Broadway and W. Henderson around 10:10 Tuesday evening.

The extent of the pedestrian’s injuries is unknown.

According to EPD, they were conducting a sobriety test on the driver to rule out if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.

Far-right lane traveling northbound was closed for about an hour.
