Students Have Meet and Greet with Authors During Children’s Author Festival

HUMBOLDT COUNTY (KIEM)– Students are diving into books during the ongoing Humboldt County Children’s Author Festival. But while they’re swimming in stories, they’re also meeting the authors behind the words!

Over at Ridgewood School, the kids got to meet Natasha Wing, author of Bagel in Love. Wing got a chance to tell kids what it’s like to be a writer. She gave the students a special treat by reading to them.

Wing lived in Humboldt County for several years before moving to Colorado.

On Saturday, there will be a book signing and book sale over at the Humboldt County Library.
