Deadline extended for Calfresh Receipts due to PG&E Power Shutoff

Eureka, Ca., (KIEM) Due to the October 9 power outage, the deadline to apply for replacement benefits is now extended.

CalFresh recipients who lost food during the outage now have until November 8 to apply for benefits.

According to the California Health And Human Services Agency, recipients must complete, sign and turn in a CF 303 form to request a replacement.
