Humboldt Bay Fire Hosts Emergency Disaster Preparedness Event

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – Humboldt Bay Fire hosted an emergency disaster preparedness event Thursday evening.

Along with Humboldt Bay Fire, Humboldt Bay Fire Community Emergency Response Team (HBF CERT) and the American Red Cross held a presentation and conversation about emergency preparedness at HBF’s Rob Bode Training Classroom.

Due to the overwhelming response from the community, the agencies will be hosting additional events in the future.

In addition, the Community Risk Reduction Specialist from HBF will help anyone interested in creating an Emergency & Disaster Kit customized to them and their needs.
