Mold Removal Tips

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Ca. (KIEM)- The rainy season here in Humboldt can cause mold in the home.

We have a few tips on how to conquer the unsightly fungus.

Scrub the walls and wood trim with a mixture of 1 quart water and one-half cup bleach or mold cleaner. Then put out dehumidifiers and new fans to dry the clean areas for at least three days, and make sure to wear protective clothing and shoes while cleaning up.
