Meeting set to address safety concerns at busy Eureka intersection

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – With recent vehicle crashes at a busy Eureka intersection, the community will have an opportunity to voice their concerns to law enforcement along with state and county officials.

F and Oak Street in Eureka has seen an increase in motorists and has been the site of several auto crashes. Grant School is located just a block away from the intersection.

Now, a safety meeting with supervisor Rex Bohn and public works will be held Tuesday night in the Grant School Library.

It starts at 6 pm and Eureka Police, the CHP, sheriff’s office, Caltrans and other agencies will all be in attendance.

Going forward, residents want to see either a four-way stop or stoplight at the intersection.
