Head-On Collision on Highway 101 Leaves One Person with Major Injuries

DEL NORTE COUNTY, Ca. (KIEM) – One person has sustained major injuries in a head-on collision in Del Norte County.

Just after 8:30 Monday night, emergency personnel responded to Highway 199 east of Patrick’s Creek for a crash involving a Honda car and Toyota truck.

The condition of the victim is not known at this time.

As of 10 p.m. this evening one lane is open to controlled traffic.
