A Runaway Felon Has Been Arrested By Humboldt County Sheriff’s Deputies.

SHELTER COVE, Ca. (KIEM) – 30 year-old Aaron Arlotta was seen shooting a firearm in the Kings Peak Road near shelter cove with two other people.

Deputies located Arlotta who fled on foot down a hill through rugged terrain.

Deputies pursued Arlotta until it became unsafe.

California Highway Patrol contacted the two people seen with Arlotta and learned that the female occupant of his vehicle had allegedly been injured by Arlotta.

C.H.P.  found a firearm in the vehicle believed to be Arlotta’s.

At approximately 8:45 last night, deputies received a tip that Arlotta had been seen in a house on the 1100 block of Kings Peak Road.

Deputies located and searched Arlotta and found a concealed knife.

Arlotta was arrested on charges of felon in possession of a firearm, inflicting corporal injury on a spouse, and carrying a concealed dirk or dagger, resisting arrest, and parole revocation.

He is being held without bail and the case is still under investigation
