A year ago, CR basketball never imagined they would become the new darlings of the North Coast. The men’s and women’s programs reaching the NorCal Regionals for the first time in decades has sent the county into a frenzy.

Friday’s doubleheader has been sold out. According to athletic director, Bob Brown, over 800 tickets were gone in less than 4 hours.

 Jain Tuey will start the night facing ninth seed Skyline at 5:30 pm, then Ryan Bisio will square off against Sacramento City at 7:30 pm which brings us to Thomas Nelson.

The former Arcata Tiger is among the best players in the state. The Golden Valley Conference MVP helped Redwoods end their 14-year championship drought, yet, he is focused on Lemoore.
