Chalk about Love event held at Eureka’s Ross Park

EUREKA, Ca (KIEM)-February is Teen Domestic Violence Awareness Month and the California Tribal Partnership of Humboldt County put on a Chalk about Love event at Ross Park.

Youth of the partner tribes were invited to talk about teen domestic violence and how to have healthy relationships. At Thursday’s event, community youth came down and answered questions written on the pavement in an effort to start an open dialogue about what a healthy relationship is.
