Multi-Week Investigation Leads To Drug And Firearm Arrests

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – Two people in Eureka have been arrested on weapon and drug charges.

At 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, Humboldt County Drug Task Force Agents and The Eureka Police Department served a search warrant on the 46-hundred block of Myers Avenue in Eureka.

Agents found over 10 ounces of heroin packaged for sale, a loaded firearm, and $5,600 dollars in the residence.

26-year-old Riley Bean was arrested for distribution of heroin, being a felon in possession of a firearm, probation violation, and three outstanding felony warrants.

41-year old Katheryn Walton was the homeowner and was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, and operating a residence for narcotic sales.

Both were booked into jail.
