Former Fire Chief, CERT Team Member Bridges Passes Away

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of CERT team member and instructor, Dale Bridges who passed away last night surrounded by family and friends.

Dale was a beloved member of the Humboldt Bay Fire’s CERT team from 2014 until 2020.

He served the community for 30 years as a fire chief, assistant chief, engineer and many other roles with the fire department.

Humboldt Bay Fire says they will miss hearing dale’s cheerful laugh and his frequent visits to the office.

Bridges leaves behind a tremendous legacy of volunteering on the north coast and will be well remembered and greatly missed.
