No New Covid-19 Cases in Humboldt County for the Third Consecutive Day

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Ca. (KIEM) – For a third straight day, there are no new Covid-19 cases in Humboldt County and the total remains at 52.

Starting next week, the county will begin releasing information on the numbers of people released from quarantine.

Despite no new cases over the last three days, Health officer Dr. Teresa Frankovitch said the virus is still circulating in the community and the situation still needs to be monitored closely.

Over 1,600 residents have been tested and approximately 83% of the cases are located around Eureka, Arcata, Fortuna and McKinleyville.

52% are women and 48% are men.
